Hi everyone I'm Zoe. I'm doing a one week work experience placement with ASOS Life – and am the envy of all my friends! At the moment I'm taking my first year of A-Levels: Art, Spanish, English Literature and Psychology.
Upon arriving at ASOS, I couldn't wait to check out what everyone was wearing so went for a wander around the office floor...
The staff at ASOS are possibly the coolest people I have ever met – working in fashion means they get the smart/casual balance just right at ASOS Towers! They all do it in style, by sporting the current trends – here's how...
So, I spotted three key trends being worked by the ASOS staffers on my way around the office:
Sequins
Take note of the fantastic black sequin skirt, a perfect day-to-evening piece, and of course the beautiful golden sequin jacket.
Lace
Look at the beautiful gothic-styled lace dress, or the punkier take on the trend with the use of clever layering = FANTASTIC! Both outfits were worn with a pair of fab black ankle boots to finish the look.
Folk
Lots of lovely folkloric dresses, big chunky patterned cardigans and embroidered tops - take a look and be inspired...
The Folk fashion seemed to be the most popular trend worn throughout the office, possibly because chunky patterned knits are so perfect for these chilly autumnal months! Whether the trend is sequin covered garments, lace or folkloric clothes, the ASOS workers clearly nail it. What trend are YOU working right now? We'd love to hear about it.
