Look guys, it's time to give up holding off and finally admit that Christmas is on its way. The ladies in your lives have already been planning it for weeks so to avoid even more disapproving looks and tears, it'd be a good idea to get on board Santa's sleigh. You may have seen our clever little Gift Shop where, apart from all the best pressies, you can find a few little treats like the top 10 festive essentials, the solution to all your gifting grief and exclusive remixes of big music act's favourite songs, Christmas style. Paloma Faith broke our duck the other week and now we've just added the Hoosiers to the mix. We caught up with the band's drummer Alan to ask him a few hard-hitting questions and this is what he said.
What made you want to be involved with our Christmas project?
Christmas is a time for giving and receiving - we felt that the ASOS Christmas project was a chance to achieve both of these goals.
What's your one tip for surviving Christmas?
I always find a good night's sleep helps.
What do you want Santa to bring you down the chimney?
A brand new pair of ASOS sneakers.
Sprouts. Lover or a hater?
I love sprouts, but I know Irwin hates them. Martin lost his tongue in a skiing incident, aged 4 and so has no taste buds. So I guess that makes us undecided on the mater.
What's your favourite carol/ Christmas song?
Little donkey.
Have you been good or bad this year? Please give examples to convince Santa.
We have been very good this year - Quiet as mice we have been beavering away like bees/beavers on our new album - I assume that's reasonably good - I did get a speeding ticket though - but I have paid the fine and taken the penalty points so I would hope that is punishment enough without being forsook by the big Santa C.
What have you bought/ are going to buy your mum for Christmas?
I know that our mothers are avid ASOS followers so would hate to ruin the Christmas surprise.
Opening presents. Before or after Christmas dinner?
In Sweden they open their presents on Christmas Eve - impatient! I tend to go all out and open all my presents in the morning.
Don't forget to check out their Christmas remix here...
